Description

700ml // 52.4% ABV

Distilled the year before production at this Lowland distillery ceased forever, this Littlemill single cask is one of the finite remaining gifts one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries has left us. And it’s a good’un. 273 cask strength bottles were produced from cask number 2665, a hogshead.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Honey, grass and yummy custard turnovers. Bagels and just a suggestion of wallpaper paste too.

Palate: Slightly floral with touches of citrus that give way to soft oak and a wisp of smoke on the tail.

Finish: Pancakes pop up before a long nutty finish.

Overall: A thoroughly enjoyable single cask from this now closed Lowland distillery.
