Single Barrel is matured in the highest reaches of our barrelhouse, where the dramatic changes in temperature cause its color and taste to deepen further. We still hand select each barrel for its robust taste and notes of toasted oak, vanilla and caramel.

For Master Distiller Jeff Arnett and our tasters, picking out the perfect barrel for our Single Barrel whiskey is a very selective process. That’s because only 1 out of 100 of the barrels we sample from the upper reaches of our barrelhouse is ready for us to put your name on.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Zesty citrus and pepper on the nose, with hints of crème caramel, cooked banana, burnt sugar and cinnamon.

Palate: Rich, thick palate with a big whack of sweet spices, vanilla, custard apples and pine resin. This develops on salt caramel and cedar.

Finish: Long, spicy finish with caramelised sugar and stewed fruit.
