Winner of a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2005, a single malt from Glengoyne matured in first fill European oak sherry casks for 21 years.

Christmas cake, honey, and rich fruit – with a long cinnamon finish. Matured exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks for 21 years. Perfect after dinner or, frankly, anytime.

I’ve tried several different malts from the Glengoyne distillery & decided to treat myself to the 21 Year Old. Wow! I really don’t know what else to say. Beautifully smooth, highly flavoured & definitely one bottle that I would highly recommend anyone who really appreciates good whisky invest in.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep Copper, meandering legs.

Nose: Red apples, spicy strudel, toffee, sherry and dried fruits. Christmas cake in a glass.

Taste: Lots of Sherry, honey, oak with a developing aromatic sensation. Ends with a heavenly cinnamon nip.

Finish:Long, sherry, spicy, warm and dry.

Cask Recipe: 100% Sherry Casks. Predominantly 1st Fill European Oak Sherry Casks.
