Single malt Scotch whisky from The Glenlivet distillery, matured in a single hogshead cask for 14 years before being bottled in February 2014 at 59.8% ABV. The name, Conglass, comes from the Conglass Water, which flows through the Highlands and eventually meets the Livet.
Nose: Orange sweetness, comforting vanilla and soft hints of almond.
Palate: The creaminess from the vanilla continues on to the palate, developing toffee and old fashioned boiled sweetie notes.
Finish: A long and slightly drying finish.
Overall: A dram for the early evening, enjoyed in the garden as the sun is setting.
