Batch 47 of Aberlour’s incredibly popular A’Bunadh series. As always, it’s a stunning single malt which has matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry butts and been bottled at a sturdy 60.7% ABV. No chill-filtering, no colouring, just great whisky!

Tasting Notes

Nose: Seductive sherry notes, candied orange peel, hazelnut and mixed spices.

Palate: A huge hit of sherry comes first, alive with orange and ginger. Dried fruits and dark chocolate follow close behind.

Finish: Bitter dark chocolate and allspice.

Overall: The A’Bunadh never disappoints! A drop of water or two wouldn’t go amiss to bring out every flavour of this fantastic whisky.
