This is Batch 44 of the irrepressible Aberlour A’Bunadh bottling. The A’Bunadh is labelled without an age statement and is bottled at a cask strength of 59.7% ABV. Although each batch is unique, this heavily sherried and excellent value malt whisky remains extremely popular and it’s easy to see why.

Tasting Notes

Big Oloroso sherry notes of coffee and 85% cocoa chocolate on the nose followed by roasted coffee beans and burnt raisins on the palate. The finish is big and spicy with some fruit compote on the tail.
