Description

700ml // 51.0% ABV

This year’s Fèis Ìle bottling from Lagavulin is sublime 18 Year Old selected by Iain McArthur distilled in 1996. A real highlight of the Islay whisky festival, 3,000 of these sherry matured bottles have been released.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense Sherry is supported by sweet barley with more herbal notes developing.

Palate: Big, rich and precise with plenty of fruit. Simply fantastic.

Finish: Clean and fruity with elusive lingering notes.

Overall: Tremendous ‘old sherry’ whisky and probably the single best release of Fèis Ìle 2013.
