The Abhainn Dearg distillery is located on the the west coast of the Isle of Lewis, one of Scotland’s Outer Hebridean islands. This is their new make, which is aged in Sherry casks for just a few months, before it’s bottled.

Abhainn Dearg (pronounced Aveen Dje-rak), or Red River Distillery. This very new distillery is following old traditions in an ancient landscape and can already lay claim to being the most westerly distillery in Scotland.

This is a limited release where every bottle has been filled, labeled, corked and sealed by hand. Each bottle is signed by Mark Tayburn, who’s dream it was to build a distillery on Lewis and create a Single Malt, the dream goes on.
