Yamazakura Fine Blended
Our founder’s (1765) whisky production license (1946) (Hayato Ikeda’s Bureau Chief at the time) continues to manufacture as the only “whisky manufacturer” in the Northeast. It’s purpose at the time was for the American occupation troops stationed in Japan, so begun it’s production.
The unblended whisky used in this product is aged over 20 years. Matured in barrels for first 15 years and then moved to tanks. Finally, it was moved into barrels to finish up this whisky.
